In a challenging team project for our course, we set out to design a foldable door blocker for police use in high-risk situations. Using SolidWorks, we collaborated on developing a concept that was both compact and effective, making it easy to deploy under pressure. My role involved calculating stress and strain in key parts of the design, ensuring the blocker could withstand up to 10,000 N/m² of force without any plastic deformation. This required extensive attention to detail, as the material selection and structural integrity were critical for real-world use. Working together, we crafted a resilient and innovative design, ready to serve as a protective tool in intense scenarios.
